Gratitude (day 18): the ability to stay connected

I'm grateful for all the modern convienences that make staying in touch possible. My family lives in a different country. I have friends all over the place. Thanks to the internet and phone I'm able to stay in very close contact with everyone. Not too long ago contact would have probably simply been some letters, a few phone calls to family and Christmas letters to friends far away. Now my life is blessed by the connection to people I care about who uplift me and can remain a part of my life no matter where I life.
