Gratitude (day 17): Safety

I'm grateful for my safety. As we walked around today with the ashes floating around us like snowflakes and puffing up from the ground as you walked, I was grateful for my safety, my children's safety and the safety of our home. We're not close to any fires, but we're surrounded by them in a distant way since they are in LA and surrounding counties. I pray for the safety of those near the fires and am grateful for my own safety during this time and always.
